Kenneth E. Luther, Sr. peacefully passed away at home 8/31 in Carson City, NV.
Ken was born on September 8, 1937, and is one of five born to Mildred “Mid” and Leo Robert.
He is a fifth-generation Californian whose Great-Great Grandmother, Elizabeth “Jennie” Cloud, identified the first gold nugget pulled from Sutter Mill in 1848, sparking the
gold rush.
Ken is survived by his wife of nearly 68 years, Billie; daughters Carrie Luther, Kelly (Rudy) Crisolo, and Tracie (Mickey) Hernandez; son, Ken Jr.; and his many friends of Bill W. and bowling.
He was predeceased by his grandson, Tosh Ackerman, parents, and younger brother.
He is Grampa to 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Ken achieved 52 years of sobriety through AA “one day at a time.”
Memorial will be on September 28th at 11:00 a.m., Mill’s Park Pavilions B & C, Carson City, NV.
