It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carl F. Wilson Sr.
He passed peacefully at Carson Tahoe Hospital on February 10th, 2025, where he had been a resident of Carson City, NV for the past 20 years.
The Celebration of Life will be held at: Mountain Vista Baptist Church in Carson City, NV on March 15th, 2025, at 11:00am.
Carl was born in West Virginia on February 19th, 1940.
Carl proudly served in the United States Marines for 4 years. After the Marines he moved to Lake Tahoe California and worked at Harrah’s Casino. Carl Moved to Gardnerville, NV in 1969 where he later started working for Scolari’s Warehouse Market. He retired from Scolari’s in 2003 with the death of his first wife, Bobbie Wilson.
Carl was a great man of God and was a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Minden Nevada for many years. Carl also was The area Pastor for manyLong Term Care facilities.
Carl’s family is his now wife, Lillian Wilson of Carson City, Nevada.
Son - Carl F. Wilson Jr. (Cathy Wilson) of Yerington, Nevada.
Daughter – Ella Louise Hendrix (Steve Hendrix) of
Sparks, Nevada.
Daughter – Patty Collins (Tim Collins) of Reno, Nevada.
9 Grand Children – Megan Kronenburg, Marie Oakden, James Kronenburg, Summer Nancollas, Ashley Nancollas, Chelsea Wilson, Dylan Wilson, Jodi Towne, Hanna Wilson, Anderson Collins, Emerson Collins.
19 Great Grandkids – Jayden, Kelix, Shawn Jr., Brody, Bentley, Charlie, Codie, Beau, Kay Jay, Richard, Katherine, Colt, Anthony, Ryder, Jackson, Hayleigh, Ryleigh, Richard.
