Midfielder Hannah Coverley passes the ball off Tuesday during the Douglas High girls soccer team's 9-0 win at home against McQueen. The Tigers (5-0 overall before their game Saturday at Reno) face a challenging stretch on the schedule this week, starting with a home contest Tuesday against Reed (0-0-2 before its Saturday game at Damonte Ranch) and Friday at Spanish Springs (3-0 before its Saturday game at Carson). None of the Saturday scores were available at press time. Douglas also hosts defending 1-A state champion South Tahoe on Sept. 25.
