A new directive released by the governor’s office on Wednesday afternoon gave school districts outside of Clark and Washoe counties the ability to determine whether face coverings will be required for students while in school buildings or on campuses.
A revised plan to reopen Douglas County schools was submitted to the Nevada Department of Education after being approved by Douglas County School Board trustees on Monday.
