Fireworks on display at an Arizona Walmart on June 15. Similar displays are absent in the Sierra Front because home fireworks are illegal to sell, possess and use in Douglas and surrounding counties.
Mother Nature doesn’t require a pyrotechnic permit or certification for her light shows, but people absolutely do.
