Douglas County Animal Services and DAWG are hosting a Betty White adoption event 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. A Betty White Challenge donation station set up in front of Smith’s Food and Drug, 1341 Main St. in Gardnerville, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
