The Douglas High School boys basketball team boarded a bus bound for Las Vegas and the NIAA State Championships on Thursday morning. One week after finishing as the runner-up in the Northern 5A regional tournament, Douglas (17-11) opens the 5A state tournament on Friday against Southern champion Durango (19-6) at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas.
