Work on the outlet piping for a detention basin under Gardnerville Station continues this week. Monday marked 10 years since it was acquired by the town, mostly as a flood control site. It also will serve as a welcome center and home for Main Street Gardnerville, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this week.
