Chryslers and DeSoto Airflows will take over Heritage Park in Gardnerville this morning. The show starts at 10 a.m. today at the park, located just off Highway 395 at Gilman Avenue. At 2 p.m. the cars will make their way to Genoa.

Gardnerville is sponsoring the movie "Madagascar" under the starts tonight at 8 p.m. The movie will be set up at Heritage Park.

Work has begun to pull debris off the mountainside on Kingsbury Grade. A&K Earth Movers out of Sparks is working to clear the main route between Carson Valley and Lake Tahoe. Nevada Department of Transportation spokesman Scott Magruder said engineers hope to have some idea when the highway will reopen by Monday. If all goes well, the mountain could be stabilized by next week, if not, who knows.

Highway 50 through Carson City has construction from Zephyr Cove to Cave Rock and potential delays of up to 20 minutes. They're also working on the interchange at Highway 50 and the top of Clear Creek.

Night work on the roundabout at 88 and County Road in Minden begins on Monday with a single lane of traffic June 20-24.
