Douglas County Republican Women ready for their close-up

Douglas County Republican Women are presenting "Vivacious Vixens go Vaudeville" talent show 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the CVIC Hall in Minden.

Local elected officials will also perform.

The talent show is a fundraiser for the scholarships the women give out.

The cost is $25 per person with a no host bar and catered by Tahoe Ridge Bistro.

It will be a busy week for the women. On Wednesday they'll recognize the entrepreneur of the year at their monthly luncheon.

The Republican Women meet 11 a.m. at the Carson Valley Inn.
