East Fork firefighters extinguished a blaze in a shed off Dorlores Way south of Mottsville Lane in Carson Valley.
The fire was reported to be knocked down by 3:42 p.m. Firefighters reported the fire is out and has been overhauled at 5:20 p.m.
No cause for the fire was released
According to personnel on scene, the fire threatened a hay stack and a propane tank as a black plume of smoke rose from the burning building. The plume was visible from across the Valley.
Units from Minden, Genoa and Sheridan are fighting the fire which was reported at around 3:25 p.m.
There is a report that a resident may have received a burn in the fire.
