REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FROM LANDSCAPING CONTRACTORS
FOR THE 2021/22 DOUGLAS COUNTY PAVER IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT
Project Name: 2021/22 Douglas County Paver Improvement Project
Estimated Construction Budget: $ 99,500.00
Intent:
It is the intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals
for labor only for paver installation in various Douglas County Parks.
Description of Work:
Provide labor and all necessary tools to install Basalite 5x8 San Francisco
Cobblestone (Positano) Pavers in the following Parks.
Stodick Park, 1414 Toler Lane, Gardnerville
Description of Services:
The County expects the professional company to install pavers to
industry standards. The contractor will be responsible for preparing
sand leveling course not to exceed 3”. Install aluminum edging. Install
pavers in a running bond pattern with a soldier’s course in the edges.
Sand the surface and grade shoulders into adjacent grade. The County
will provide all materials required for the work
Proposed contract for services will be issued as part of the Request for
Proposal Package.
Anticipated Schedule:
The anticipated date the Board of County Commissioners will take action to
award a contract at the September 16, 2021 regularly scheduled meeting.
The general period for installation will be from October 1, 2021 through
November 30, 2021.
Selection Criteria:
The greatest number of pallets installed not exceeding $90,000.00
