CalTrans workers stand next to a boulder on Echo Summit on Wednesday morning.
The boulder landed on Highway 50 at 8:03 a.m., according to the California Department of Transportation.
Workers moved all the debris into the west bound lane near the summit 1.8 miles west of Meyers.
