Genoa, Nev. — I’m following up on a single vehicle rollover on Old Highway 50 in Glenbrook that resulted in the driver’s death around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. It was the fourth fatality on Douglas roads in a month.


A presentation on a microtransit system at Stateline by the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority goes before Douglas County commissioners 1 p.m. today at the Lake Tahoe Visitor Authority, 169 Highway 50.


Western Nevada College begins three days of graduation ceremonies 9 a.m. today. They are doing a drive-through procession in one holdover from the coronavirus outbreak.


There’s a red flag warning for the Sacramento Valley starting 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Any major fires on that side of the mountain are likely to send smoke over to this side.


It’s going to warm up this week with the high temperature forecast to hit 80 today and climbing to 88 degrees by Wednesday. Expect the wind to pick up out of the north at 5 mph in the afternoon.
