Genoa, Nev. — Douglas County commissioners approved a $2.9 million purchase agreement for Carson Valley Cinemas on Thursday, along with $10,000 in closing costs and $25,000 in earnest money. The purchase price is coming from room taxes.
Residents reported feeling a 3.22 earthquake that was centered in the hills just west of Spring Valley in the Pine Nut Mountains around 9:20 a.m. Thursday. It was followed by three much smaller aftershocks.
