Louie Fontaine performs at the inn

Louie Fontaine continues in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge through June 11, Street Heart returns June 13-18, The Fabulous Cut-Ups appear June 20-25. Forty-five minute shows start at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.

Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge entertainment is presented with no cover and no minimum.

Formed in 1981, Louie Fontaine & The Rockets perform regularly throughout Nevada and The West. Fontaine is a former lead singer for Paul Revere and the Raiders. Fontaine and his band perform a fast-paced mixture of comedy, costumes, choreography and '50s and '60s rock 'n' roll. His show boasts many medleys, including tributes to the Doors, Creedence Clearwater, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, B.B. King and others.

Street Heart plays classic rock 'n' roll memories from the psychedelic '60s on to the present. Based in San Diego, and perennial San Diego Music Awards finalists, the group has been entertaining since 1987.

Coming Monday night in the Cabaret Lounge is The Robeys.
